Research has shown that metals such as lead and cadmium have effects on several mechanisms involved in behavioral regulation in mammals. My primary research question is investigating whether presence of heavy metals in the environment are affecting the behaviors of bats living within the Tar Creek Superfund Site in northeast Oklahoma.
